Be careful where you use silicone spray... I had very bad experiences with 'fumes' that fell on the floor... 8-)

I stumbled upon telfon looking for silicone. Are experience with it?

Never used it, but it should work.

Teflon is not nearly as environmentally safe as silicone. No one fully understands the long term effects of Teflon, but it's been speculated to cause all sorts of health problems and break down very slowly in the environment.

It's likely you've used pans that are coated with it, and if you don't scratch it off, it's supposedly not so bad. In aerosol form I'd think it would be much more likely to get where you don't want it.
