You want it you got it...!

Stowe was closed... It's not my local resort but only an hour and a half from here... And they have the most snow right now...!

Skins? Nah, fishscales... :D

From central NY it's probably about the same to Killington as it is to Whiteface.

Also Whiteface is really weird about uphill travel, and probably it's usual wall of ice, I'd stay away.

Brought my dad backyard skiing for the first time yesterday... Ski day #28... Skiing downhill with a sleeping baby is not as easy as I thought it would be...

I looked at these pictures and I still can't understand...

How did Eve let YOU take the baby skiing!?! Was she sleeping? Drugged? Tied up in the basement?

Backyard fun in town earlier this week... Snow is much better on the upper mountain, but it was Dynafit / Soul7 fest up there during the holidays... (I'm allergic to 'backcountry' skiers...)

I JUST got done reading that book. Holy cow is it refreshing to read. I especially like the curmudgeoning about 'old' ski tech at the time (woodies and cable bindings) vs 'new-school' technology: fiberglass skis and freaky-weird "3-pin bindings." Makes Grampatele seem like a downright futuristic tele skier on his high tech 3-pins and leathers...at least in 1973. Thanks for the tip on that book Woodserson! It should be required reading for the XCD club;)

god, I miss the 70's! Hippies and nakedness and cheap herb and I was too young to enjoy it! The women down here in Boston have totally gone over to yoga tights, smart phones, and martinis.

Looks like you Quebec skiers are in luck, snow this weekend while New England gets rain. it's a good winter to do some exploring up there.
