WTB Older Pair of Skis

Post by HeathDude » Wed Aug 05, 2020 11:53 pm

Wondering if anyone has an old pair of skis they want to get rid of. Looking to do mostly on-piste work but some additional back country. Not too concerned with the length of the ski but +180 should do.

Hey Wooderson,

To me, old is just a poor way of phrasing "I'm not trying to spend too much money. I'm thinking my price range would probably not be able to afford me a new model. I'd say no older than a late 90s model. I'm new to telemarking but I'm actually really interested in Viking traditions so I'm trying to transfer my love for Alpine to something a little more involved, Telemark.

Width: I've heard for beginners is better to be in the 80-90 range.

I've got some stuff that needs to be re-homed. they are old, as in, traditionally cambered and lots of holes in them. Are you planning on mounting them yourself?

also, check: https://www.freeheellife.com/collection ... emark-skis

lots of good deals, traditionally cambered skis with bindings for less than $200

sorry about slow replies my hands are full right now at home
