I have a pair of the older, pre-rockered Shuksan, which I skied for years, both for mountain tours and all-mountain front and sidecountry. It is an excellent all-round ski, and pretty light for what it does. Just wanna put this out there if anyone's tempted.

Rod,
From past experience I’ve found that K2’s stated lengths are usually about 2cms shy of the actual. What do these actually measure?

The reason I ask is because I had a great ski today on 170 cm, 78mm underfoot G3 Stinger waxless, and thought about getting smooth base ski in the same range. I even thought about trying them with wax after reading Al’s posts on waxing single cambered skis, if it doesn’t work I can always sue him :D

For the record I’m 145 lbs.

Hello Nick,
These are exactly 160 cm... True to size, I would say. This ski has a lot of pop to it (not flat or reverse camber). I weight 137 lbs. At 145, you'll be alright. As far as length goes, it depends on your preferences. The have a little rocker; they do not feel short at all, like you feel on some skis (like Blizzard all-mountain series for exemple...).
