Touring around SW Montana/Wyoming

Earlier this year I bought a pair of Fischer Traverse 78s, my first nordic touring skis. I've been able to get out quite a few days this winter when I haven't been distracted by skiing powder with my AT skis. Here's a few photos.
Beautiful day in Yellowstone and one of the best days I've had in the mountains in a long time. Clear, cold, not a breath of wind all day. 6 inches of fast, cold smoke powder on top of a firm, edgeable base.
Another Yellowstone outing
Looking back on solitary tracks in deep wilderness, one of my favorite things
Quiet snow
Absarokas
Since the coronavirus, I've been keeping it local. Yesterday I encountered the gunkiest snow ever! I should probably wax my skis...
