ISO Voile left hand short rod

I’m setting up another TTS heel assembly and have three Voile rods. I had spare Rottefella rods from the Rotte 3 pin cable, after a warranty claim, and thought I could use on of those. However, the Rotte hook is slightly different with a flatter profile and, whilst it does hook around the Kreuzspitze pins, I don’t feel comfortable using it.
So while I’m looking for the left hand rod, it’s actually going on the right side as, thanks to Demian’s Schane’s excellent advice on Backcountry Talk, reversing the rods stops them dropping off in tour mode.
So if anyone can help me out I would be most grateful.

What TTS are you building?
Also since you are reversing you need a right rod to turn into a left rod? Is that correct?
I might be able to help you

Thanks Woodserson. It’s a Kreuzspitze TeleAlp plate with a Dynafit Radical toes. The back end uses the Switchback X2 springs.
It is the left rod, which is inverted to work as the right hand rod. My first tour on this set up was most embarrassing/frustrating. I was on a fairly busy weekend trail (Hollyburn winter trail) skinning up with just the toes and I looked down and there was no sign of the spring set. I looked back down the trail and there was a kind lady snowshoer hiking up with my errant spring in her hand. So I put it in my pack for safe keeping and carried on. A little further on I noticed the second spring was gone, but because I was checking quite often it was just 10 feet backdown the trail. So from there on in I had them both in my pack.
I posted the problem on Backcountry Talk and Demian’s recommendation was to reverse/invert the rods and I’ve never had a problem since.
I also have another TTS set up using the B&D plates, and would move the toe piece and the springs from one set up to the other. However as the pivot points are in different locations I was having to adjust the length of the rods each time I made a change which was a pain. So to save time I bought another pair of X2 springs from Voile intending to use the three Voile rods I already had plus the Rottefella rod only to find the Rottefella rod didn’t really work since it is really designed to fit in the slot of the three pin binding.
