Posting photos

I haven’t figured this out yet but wanted to post a selfie to introduce myself. Does anyone have any tricks or tips? Are there size or format restrictions?

Go to (play with temporary holiday theme, hit the "G" in the corner a couple times after hovering for normal mode)

Drop down "File" from tool bar to upload.
Ctrl+A to select and drag photo to crop top and left side.
Use blue dots on edge at middle to adjust bottom and right side.

Drop down "Image" from tool bar, to Attributes.
Note pixel height and width.
If it is too big, do the math.
If image is 1200px wide and you want it 600px wide...

Drop down "Image" from tool bar, to Stretch Skew.
Enter percent, as in 50% and 50% to go from 1200 to 600.

Drop down "File" and save or upload as you choose.
If imgur, right click to open image in new tab until you have just the image.
Cut paste URL as needed.

Use phpBB to attach or upload.

Go skiing.*

*Alternatively, pray for snow, but not on the roads or driveways, just on stuff that's fun to ski.

I think I’ve got the hang of this. I used a photo already posted to the forum by another member, as I figured that they’d be using the right format and sizing. I can’t seem to remember where I got it from. There are so many posts on the forum that it’s hard to keep track of it all.
