Has anyone else seen this? It appears Madshus has or will be swapping the top sheet graphics on their XCD line:

I believe this might interest some of the more visually concerned among us...I know, unfortunately, they are not images of dogs! As for myself, I like the new look although my biggest hope is that these are coming out as waxable. I'm dreaming I know, but the time has come for us cold-snow skiers to demand it! 8-)

Where did you find this? Any more info?

I think they look uglier than ever... but who am I to judge, my next pair of skis will have a man's face on them :?

Looks like they mixed up the picture to the name. Annum is the red (I can tell because it says 78 on it which is the mid width), Epoch is Orange? (says 68 on it, the mid width).

Not even on the Madshus website yet.

I'm with you Ben- waxable Epoch- with a stiffer flex and a wider waist!

Maybe it should be called the "Era"!

98-88-94mm profile
moderately-stiff single camber
sintered waxable base
rockered tip
lengths to 205cm

My dream BC-XC ski...

Good. Would 80-84 work for you under the foot? I'm concerned they would be hard to edge teleturning on anything remotely hard given these are XC, hence softer.

Lets approach Altai with this! ;)

I could live with 84mm...

I have changed the way I engage turn transitions on these skis...I find I don't need too much sidecut..I would rather have the extra width at the waist= more flotation + more grip!
