Hi I've seen a few retailers selling these waxless scaled powder fattys at big discounts. Anyone here ski them or see them close up? Looks like a equivalent to a Volie Charger BC.

This looks like a nice ski! I didn't know about it yet. I'm also curious to read your comments about it? The waxless pattern looks interesting! Will it give me enough traction? During the hibernation seaon i'm somewhere close to 230lbs...
Anyone found something cheeper than 299$ online?

The pattern is different isn't it, kind of a staggered louver thing going on. Same dimentions as my K2 sidestash. Ill SE if I can post a link to them.
Hey, yeah, that looks like a very ski...! The natural wood and the Roger Wateresque graphics are super nice... !
(Too fat and too heavy for my taste... I could split them and make 2 pairs out of one... ; )
Come on Bri7 you cheapskate... A pair of brand new waxless Surface fatties for 299$? This is one hell of a deal..!
I really like this Ruess: (Filmed in Montreal)

If it's a positive pattern you shouldn't have any issue climbing, even at 230...
I was pushing that last winter, especially with my small pack on, and I could climb like a goat with my S Bounds. Those things are wider under foot than mine are at the shovel!

I know i'm cheap Johnny. You know what truly bothers me about that ski? I won't be able to mount a pair 3 pins bindings and ride those... Unless i finish my newest project for this winter (telemark cowboy boots with carbon fiber spring intergrated to the sole)
Will you let me ski with you if i have those skis and a plastic boots? No? That what i though...

Those are def plastic boot skis... too heavy for leathers.
Climbs better than your Annums with a more dh specific sidecut.

Oh, you can mount a 3p binding and ride them with your T-Race... We'll have fun together at the ski hill on powder mornings... But ya know... The XCD Knights are very strict... No plastics in the BC... It's the law...!

I doubt it's a joke... If the guy can build TIT cups for NTN, he sure can reveal to us the CTN... (Cowboy Telemark Norm...)
If I may ask for a special request Bri7, I'd really like to have a pair of NNN-BC Converse All-Stars... (High-top ones please...)
