Any experiences with the Fischer Automatic NNN BC binding?

I am buying a pair of Fischer Traverse 78s and there are some deals that include the Fischer (Rottafella) NNN BC Auto binding, essentially at no charge. Has anyone used these bindings these recently? I have an old pair mounted on my Fischer Europa 99s (2005). They still work fine but I have only used those skis for day trips, not for long tours. I need a reliable binding for these tours. I would like to hear from anyone with good, bad, indifferent experience with this model.

Had them on my first fjellski, they worked fine. If you ski through slush and let them freeze overnight you may experience difficulty in operating them, as ice can theoretically block the mechanism underneath the button. I never had this problem myself. I did read about people experiencing this problem.
I found the manual to be a bit more confidence inspiring in use, as you can feel when the jaws dont grip the toe bar as youre trying to close. I guess I wouldn't use the autos for Greenland traverses but for day trips and other predicable tours, I wouldnt worry.
