Squeaking Duckbills!

Post by AdamA » Sat Jan 06, 2024 8:00 am

Hey All,

Here is a silly question, but also a serious wondering.

I’ve been skiing Transnordic Waterproofs (75mm) and some Roto Superteles for a few seasons. It’s an awesome combo and my first venture into leather boots.

That said, they squeak like crazy when I K+G! Is this just part of it? Any tips?

Regular dousing with cheap auto parts store silicone spray. Spray the binding. Maybe every few outings. It is best if done the night before. After a while it seems I don't have to do it as often. Zero squeaks. Now if your buddy is squeaky....

I just pretend it is the noise of squeaky snow.
