The Alpina Alaska is leather, Thinsulite insulated, and the water proof membrane is very good. If it fits, and it seems to fit a range of feet it is very comfortable, and supportive, and durable. It is reasonably priced. I don’t believe the Fischer comes close to checking all those boxes.
However if it doesn’t fit, it’s not for you.
