Imagination to think it up.
Craftsmanship to execute the idea.
Courage to ski the rig.

The world needs more people like your friend.

Probably still less than the Meidjo!

He gets releasability, full climbing pivot, big power for the heel. I wonder why he has turned the Axl spring box upside down and I wonder how he secured the cables underneath the Lynx toe piece.

FWIW I don't know this guy, it was a FWD from a FWD.

His boots seem to have duck bills. I wonder if the boots got modified as well, to have holes for the pins in the sides of the duck bill.

That's a real Rube Goldberg setup, an "Explodomat" binding-- 20+ year old plastic Voile piston, crazy torqueing from all kinds of directions all at once, and plenty of extra wt., plus a perforated ski from all the extra screws. What could go wrong?
A very brave tele skier.

At least he has releasablity! I can’t add much. I guess if you really want Meidjo or Linx, but are on a 3-pin cable budget.

I guess that the brake stay with the ski if the Voile releases but if the 2 pins let go you need the leash. Strange bulge in the front of that onesie. Maybe he has skins in there.
