Not convinced it’s a hoax either from what I am reading. It sure does suck for manufacturers and clients though. They are trying to survive I guess. Not easy these days, the competition and the market is difficult

A couple of friends received their stuff in multiple shipments. As soon as the pack is sent, they charge it to their account.
A couple of friends ordered respectively 3, 4 and 5 weeks ago, got their card charged and still didn't receive anything except cheap bad excuses. I feel so bad for them. Can't you see it's just clickbait, free social visibility and cheap advertising? Call it what you want, I call it fucking bullshit. And it kills honest manufacturers who will never see a dime on any of the past years sales.. Yet another hoax in my book...

I ordered stuff from France, Germany and Maskinongé just last week and already received everything. Some retailers care about their customers, others don't. Buying is voting.

Trying to survive by killing others, not paying for what they already sold and ripping people off? I know I know, nobody cares about honesty, ethics, service and justice. As long as they get good prices... Ahhhh... Shut the fuck up Johnny... Ok ok, I'm out of here again...

Anyway, my main point was, if LaCordee can rip people off in every single possible way, they sure can mess up with labels and tags on ski boots just to liquidate their stocks before closing...

Or maybe the 16yo clerk in Laval who never skied mixed up demo boxes, boots and insoles...?

I think Alpina is trustworthy...

I don't know anything about La Cordee but I have bought 5 pairs of Alpina's for me and my wife, and never any problem with sizing and true to size, all mail order, mostly Outdoor Gear Exchange.

Stickers, box, label in the boot, all add up correct.

Love the Alpina boots, both the Alaska's and my T20's.

Regarding the suspected hoax from La Cordée I must say we have to be very cautious before throwing rocks... About errors of sizing boots... this week we bought a bunch of steel cap boots for our crew and one box had only one boot  and that was not an online order... So shit do happen ...

As for La Cordée super sale, I did place an order a couple of weeks ago and I still have not received it. After reading the post on the thread I got a little bit nervous and I texted Vincent from La Cordee on St-Laurent, the store that sales Asnes skis. Because I had such a bad case of Asnes fever I dealt a lot with Vincent... So he replied that they got a tremendous quantity of orders and it can take up to 15 business days to process the orders. Add to that the delay from Canada Postal service and you can have to wait more than a month for your order to get home.

I might be naive but I really trust Vincent who always provided an excellent customer service. By the way, La Cordee is not the only outdoor gear store to go through some hard time. Even the Canadian giant MEC had to make some major adjustment to their activities. Add to that the COVID19 that screwed up the end of the winter season and you get the perfect recipe for a bumpy road for any business.

My wife wears a 39 in the Alaska. Can I measure something for you to compare?

That would be really nice of you... Could you measure the Insole and tell me what size is written underneath it? If Ben's pronostic is right, it should be written 40... Thanks!

Woods, can I ask you another favor? Could you measure the length of the insole? Grazie Mille...
