Switchback prereleases

Post by gfwp » Sun Feb 23, 2014 3:40 am

Hi,

yesterday I've been fighting with a huge amount of prereleases using Switchback with leather boots. On piste the pairing is good, but on offpiste, with heavy corn, I've not been able to concatenate three turns without a prerelease, althoug I had tightened up the springs.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I was never able to get the switchback leather boot combo to work. I would put a 3 pin HW binding on a ski I wanted to use with leather and plastic boots. Cable bindings like targas or rivas also work.

Voile 3pin HW..fantastic binding..can drive anything and just unlatch the cables to
climb -- or stride a bit.. 3pin cable might be the better choice for light leather and XCd though..
