snow buildup under boots

I have Voile 3-pin hardwire bindings. I'm having a problem with snowballs building up under my boots, which gets really annoying. I know Voile makes an anti-ice tape for these bindings, but the snow builds up on the top ski surface, not the binding. Is there a generic anti-ice tape that I can cut to size, or should I try packing tape or something else? I tried the swix universal glide wax I had with me at the time, but it didn't help much.

I always rub the sole of my boots with red or yellow wax... Or sometimes I use Easy Glide (when I can afford it) on the bindings and the ski surface too... And a shot of WD-40 on the pins, cause I'm too broke to buy spray wax...

reflector tape from an auto shop works pretty well as anti-ice tape and it's a little easier to find where I live. also, cooking spray is allegedly less toxic than WD-40...

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give them a try. Part of the problem is that when I dock the hardwire behind the heel piece, the wire and cartridge act as a cage that prevents snow from falling off the top of the ski. When the hardwire is latched onto my boot, the problem lessens. The other day I poked at the snow under my foot with my pole so many times I gouged the top surface of the ski. I expect that will make things worse in the future, unless I cover that area with some kind of tape.

I use silicone spray, and the snow still accumulates (particularly under NTN flex plate), but when the surface is sprayed - it is MUCH easier to get rid of.
What is "cooking spray"? Any other names, contents, formulation whatever?

Cooking spray! Oh Timbly you're a genius... I'll try that tomorrow... Gee I love this forum...!
Bogon, there's no
PAM in Europe? I dunno why I never thought of it before...
Especially since we have this refillable cooking spray bottle where you can spray whatever liquid you want... (Great to spray olive oil over oven baked potatoes on parchment paper... : )
Damn, that makes me think... I could actually fill this thing with Easy Glide...! Woooaaaah... I love you guys...!

Oh I'm sorry to inform you guys that first cold pressed olive oil is not super efficient to keep snow away... It works, but it's not perfect... (Scent is much better than WD40 though...)
Guess I will need to work on my compound... Maybe a combination of organic sunflower oil + PAM + silicon spray...
