Re: Stiffer Boot for Xplore

Well @Capercaillie that certainly is disappointing. I wonder if the Ludhags Expedition would have a taller toe box? I did buy a pair of Lundhags Abisku (regular, not Expedition) from Varuste during their spring sale, but have not skied them yet. The toebox in the Lundhags with stock liners is talle...

Here is a link to some good instruction and some fitting supplies from Intuition: https://intuitionliners.com/home-fitting/ BTW @Caperca...

Re: Stiffer Boot for Xplore

@JohnSKepler have you considered the Fischer BCX Traverse? I have, and really like, the Alfa Skaget. It is not a stiff boot. Another idea might bee to get an upsized boot and add a thin intuition style liner, I think that would beef the boot up. Might have an issue with toe space though. Skimo.co ha...

Re: Style

The most unique telemark style I have seen is in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPcZsH7k_Z0 It recently occurred to me why that looks so unique. One thing Ishikida emphasizes as being different about b-tele is the lack of up-down movement. Well, there are people who telemark knee-to-ski...

Re: Joining NATO

Every time we get involved in wars, we, as a nation, "get" just about nothing. So why do the wars keep happening? The US public is not making these decisions, and as you know from personal experience, US servicemen get the least say. So you have to ask, who got the $2.3 trillion dollars that was sp...
