Nice photos! The one on the Ruth is cool. I want to go back again next Spring. Didn't get enough time there last month.

Happy Summer Solstice!

April Bowl, Hatcher Pass. easy skiing by the road. going to do laps tomorrow as this snow is maybe good for another week at most...then lots of hiking will be required to get to the goods.

There's still some decent snow in Colorado, but you will need to hike a little bit.

Still good. Happy July 1st!

Snowbird Pass, AK at 5200ft. Lush green and buggy below 3500ft. I was swarmed by 1.5 miles of small black flies in the valley...jogged as fast as I could with my skis and pack. Skiing 1500ft vertical was worth it.

Still finding some turns in Colorado, but the hot weather is melting the snow fast.

That's a nice one Jack, I haven't seen a good comet since Hale Bop in 97'

Nice photo Jack. I never camped for photography, but the results are very cool. Thank you for sharing

Thanks for the compliments.
I didn't camp out at Crater Lake to catch the comet though. I live 20 miles from the rim so now that country fairly well all seasons. Here's a pic from another seldom ventured in the fringes of the CLNP:
