Danylewich-
Based on everything we are getting on the Ousland-

I am thinking the Ousland is your ski- vs the Gamme.

The new Gamme has a tip every bit as stiff as the previous- not designed for the groomed classic track.
Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.

If you can't find the manuals vs the magnums I generally don't have problems with the magnums in track though I usually use the manuals on more track oriented skis. Neither go beyond the boot so your boot will grab regardless.

Seems to be the series of little ribs underneath the side wings that were catching. I'm thinking the Manual might not have those little ribs?

Awesome skis... Much faster than the Ingstad... More versatile and smoother than the Gamme... Who else got a pair?
I know a few of you guys bought them this season... What do you think about the Ousland so far?

so what's the difference w/ Gamme? Softer tip and lighter weight? Seems like the Ousland is better for traditional XC - or an expedition ski that can do turns (unlike Amundsen). If you plan to make more turning descents is the Gamme still the best of the 3 for that or would it be Ousland?

The E99's soft tips are great for initiating tele turns, but the Gamme's have a more crisp, responsive feel to them. I guess the Ousland would be good if you find yourself in more groomed XC situations vs. the Gamme?

A few subtleties but yes that is the main difference...

I wouldn't count on any of them for nice smooth turns, as they all have quite a lot of camber... And I don't consider "arcing" a way of turning. But since the Ousland is the one with the softer tips it could be the easiest, depending on how and where you turn... 8-)

If it’s not a turn, then it’s the entire world that is curving around our skis as we Arc.

Wow.... Ben.... This is absolutely beautiful... What a beautiful way to say it... Those few words are brilliant... I like it a lot... Very high metaphysical content... These words are filled with such powerful tele spirits... You're a very wise man...! ;)

You know, this is exactly what I mean by dancing with God... Playing with gravity and nature... Not forcing anything. No force, no cables, no springs, no fight, no buckles, no arcing... Just forget everything, let it flow and enjoy the ride:
