NNNBC boot replacement
Starting to think about replacing my current Alpina Alaska BC boots.
Currently considering two options:
1) another pair of Alaskas.
2) Alfa Quest Advance.
Very pleased and satisfied with the Alaska- no real need to replace them!
Very interested in trying the Alfas- VERY expensive!!!

Thoughts? Advice?

Cross-country AND down-hill skiing in the backcountry.
Unashamed to be a "cross-country type" and love skiing down-hill.

Try to convince the Fey Bros or LaCordee to carry the Lofoten GTX BC so I can buy a pair too...
I need a pair of shoes with a buckle at the instep to prevent heel lift from my skinny feet... And I'm too afraid to mess up my Alaska BCs to try adding a ratcheting buckle myself...

Yeah, those Lofoten's are wicked.
Stetind with an instep strap- awesome.
Need to convince LaCordee that they should be carrying Crispi leather boots period!

Re: NNNBC boot replacement
I have the same problem with heel lift- I have narrow ankles and heels.
What's worse is the ball of my foot is comparitively wide- otherwise I would wear a narrower women's last.

Hey that's an idea... Never thought about it, I might give it a try... Plus, women's boots are always more colorful... But my BOF might be too large too... So we have the same feet...?
