Scott Voodoo NTN 2017 vs 2018
Anyone know what difference there is between the 2017 and 2018 boot.
From the specs I've found, they seem to be virtually identical.
Think 2018 may have removed the rear tech pin fitting in the heel.
Otherwise both seem to be Pebax etc and 130 flex.

It cost a fortune to make small changes in manufacturing processes... If there was something new in the boot, you can be sure they would tell the world about it... In capital letters...
I'm pretty sure it's still a Garmont Prophet boot with super-cool graphics...

Thanks. Scott have finally confirmed that the boot is the same apart from the removal of the heel technical insert.
Anyway, what is the verdict on boot life? My blue /green Voodoo have done 50 weeks and the liners are getting well compressed.
But what about the shell? Physically in OK condition but more concerned with softness of plastic.
Can get a new 2018 Voodoo for £249, or just liners at around £200.

The shells of my prophets were abused to death without any problem... Not sure Scott use the same plastic but I still see them around at the resort after like what... 7-8 years...?

I put some Intuition power wrap liners in my Garmont Prophets. The shells were new a year before they sold the molds to Scott. Sweet flex for me. 6'1" 230 lbs. enthusiastic lift served on these. I tour on 75mm and Excursions.
