@spopepro very nice trip report and the overall adventure is inspiring! I never attempt such distances, I'm not sure how my feet would hold up. I find little comfort in NNN boots over long distances with their thin hard plastic soles. My 2 cents for a boot to consider is the Crispi Nordland Hook BC. It is very light for a BC boot (729 grams, only 129 grams more than my Fisher NNN boot), but still offers the comfort of a leather boot. Only about $159 at Telemarkdown last time I checked.
100 miles in 2 days, I'm impressed.
