Got a sizing question. I have size 12 eeee duck feet can wear any shoe aslong as its a New Balance cross trainer. I will use size 13 boots if I cant get wide sizes but with heal lift, I wear right through my socks.

Any thoughts as to what size Ski March to order? The plan is to pair then with a set of 210 USGI Asnes. Thanks, Woody
Hey Woody
It's been a month, but maybe this will still be helpful. I wear a US 12. My foot is pretty much squared off at the front so I need the room for my smaller toes on the outside of my foot yet the 12 may be slightly long for my big toe. I don't know if this makes sense. So a wide, large volume foot. I got the Ski March's in the UK 11 wide. They are not too long and just wide enough to fit very well.

Well I went ahead and ordered a pair of size 12 Ski March's and today from Jolly Ol' England I received a pair of size 12.5 EE boots. I am pretty sure the size 12 would have been too big.. these fit with a throw a goat through a hole backwards kind of tolerance. I'll continue looking for size 11's.

Can anyone tell me the length of the insole for a 11UK Ski March? Thanks, Woody

I wear a US 11, I ordered a UK 10. It fits well and have been skiing it for a few years now. However, I use it for when the purpose of the tour is to ski downhill. I prefer my Alaska 75 for more touring with easy turns

Yes- the size on the Alico Ski March is "UK" sizing which is generally considered to be a full size smaller than an equivalent US Men's (i.e. 8UK~= 9USM)- terms of the length of the footbed.

US sizing has a fair bit of range between manufacturers however. I would suggest that my 8UK Ski March is a tad "short" for what I would normally consider a 9US...
(I find EU sizing to be much more consistent in terms of footbed-length...)

Try to be careful of the width though- I ordered a size 8UK and did not consider width- ended up with a very wide last and really cannot get them to work for my medium-width foot.

isn't it the opposite?

example: I wear a 10.5US shoe, but wear size 9UK Dr. Marten's boots...

Has anyone noticed that their Ski March boot has some sort of synthetic outer coating- over the leather?
I have personally found it almost impossible to condition- and therefore manipulate- the leather on my Ski March boots...
.....
I have finally decided to give up on these boots...
Please note that I might have had a much better outcome if I had ordered a narrower last...
....
Beautifully made, stiff, stable, heavy old-school leather touring boot.
Likely pretty sweet if they fit- brutal if they don't!
