Patroller, seeing me on Meijdo, at crested butte stopped me and told me about seeing this failure on mountain.
More I use them, the less stoked I am, especially after spring sticky snow tour…..

I’m gonna have nightmares after watching this…
Sticky snow problems are mostly fixable with UHMW tape and the Powder Casing.

I love the way Meidjo's ski. I like the release function. And the availability of ski brakes.
But after years on them, I've broken about everything that can be broken on them.
I've gone to the Outlaw X. They seem to be more robust. A lighter option would be the Lynx.
I expected that tech fittings would provide more edge control, but I've swapped out bindings on the same pair of skis and the OX seems to have better edge control than the M3.

Ahh. Poo.
Meidjo sounds like nirvana, light and releasable both. Gateway to NTN. Tempting but hmmmm.
I’m still on 75 mm. Did a 12 mile tour today on switchbacks and T4s, pretty good
although snow wasn’t quite good enough for a bunch of turn linkage descent.
