I wouldn't know, I just ski whatever junk pops up on kijiji. But I've noticed a direct correlation between a lack of asnes glorification posts and an excess of angry elderfolk

Not too many skis that don’t… ski. Matching skis to conditions, terrain & ski preparation is more important than brand.

The ppl who get triggered by any criticism of their fav brand or ski, or type of binding, think that gear defines the skier. It doesn’t. The skier is the critical element.

Pretty excited about these skis. I'm planning on picking up a pair of the BC (scaled) version for the gf to replace her Rossi bc125s that completely delaminated at the tips and tails. Its cool though, she hated those skis for everything except the dh. Every single pair of Rossi's that I've owned or maintained have fallen apart due to what I perceive as poor built quality: IME, they fall apart when used a lot. Voile scales performance, overall design, and the build quality of their skis gives me some level of confidence that I'll get what I'm looking for and expecting in pair of skis. That's whats nice about finding a brand of skis that you like: in a general sense, you know what you're going to get. The Endeavor BCs with Excursions and SB bindings should work well for the skiing we do in deep lake effect snow on steep but short (300-400' vertical) wooded and cliffy slopes. I'm already looking forward to next season.

@mikesee Out of curiosity I would like to know which Asnes skis you skied so we are not tempted to buy them. That would be a constructive and helpful comment.

Looks good. I’ve had three Voile skis, happy with them for sure. Chargers, Vector BC, Ultravectors.

They had mentioned that they were looking into light versions of their skis that are rated for tele bindings. It was always annoying the light “Hyper” versions were only recommended for AT. AT peeps already have LIGHTER bindings and boots. Very unfair!

I don’t think I’d get the Objectives though. Short, and fairly narrow, would be good for lightness and edging but would hang up in deep heavy conditions. I’d have to pick my conditions more: trails, piste, shallow powder, perfect corn. The Vectors and V6 seem more universal for bc snows around here.
