I'd bake 'em anyway, but I've been power watching "The Great British Bake Off" on Netflix with my wife for the last couple of weeks.

Almost as good as soaking your feet in a tub of hot water. If the liners don't get a little bigger, then at least he will have a relaxing spa day... with heat-pedi therapy!

The GBBO is an exquisitely produced show. It reeled me in few times when the wife and kids were watching.
But more importantly, the Excursions with my 28mp dynafit liners were a great fit today when i skinned up my local bump (Ragged Mtn).
In fact, I would say they were the best feeling, most comfortable ski boots I have ever had on. The Excursion scaffo plastic is wonderfully soft and flexy. Bet they would be awesome for higher mile days.
However, I may be selling the kit. Turns out I would rather walk up a hill in snowshoes. And the downhill has not been enough of a reward to carry on. Boots, skis, bindings, and skins were 6.5-7 lbs. Not bad but......

Norman, if the 3/8" dowel was snug that only gives you 3/16" each, at your toe and heel for the liner not counting socks.
I don't know how thick the liners are but that sounds pretty tight. Also for a touring boot I prefer a comfortable fit.
