What boot is this? Scarpa NTN

Post by Woodserson » Tue Jan 19, 2021 8:45 am

Is the light funny? Wat ist das?

Is this a TX Comp and it looks green, or is it an old TX that is in really nice shape after all these years, or is this some prototype new TX, the mythical beast of which many of us yearn?

I'm hoping for the latter... the only thing really keeping me from NTN is the lack of a T2Eco equivalent boot.

Start at 7:31 since it doesn't bring you there automatically to see boot. Might have to go straight to youtube

It sure looks like a Tx Comp, color wise, doesn't it?
With tech fittings front and back, but what are the chances Scarpa would put any $$ into making a boot compatible with a Meidjo rear tech?

I went from the Eco to the Tx (which they don't make any more) to the Comp and back to the Pro. The Tx skied just like the Eco except for the differences in binding and they really weren't as different from the Pro as you might expect. I bet if you skied the Pro 7 or 8 times, you wouldn't be at all sorry.

Yep, it's just an old Terminator X...

The TX Pro is pretty much the NTN equivalent of the T2... Super soft, yet offering more control than you will ever need...

So you're both telling me I'm out of excuses?
