Merrell Ultra boots

Post by Madshus1 » Fri Dec 06, 2019 1:18 pm

Can someone tell me how Merrell Ultra boots fit?? Have a chance to buy a NIB set of Ultras size 11M just worried their going to be to big. I currently use a pr of Asolo Extremes size 10MM that fit like a glove.Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA Dave

I have both and I think the fit is the same but can't say for sure because I don't have both pairs with me to verify they are the same size.

I seem to recall the Asolo's ran just a bit large, and the Merrell's were true to size - you should be close.

I would have said the opposite if I had to say anything at all. Good luck!

Thanks for the responses I'm still on the fence about getting them. I just hate to get them and not fit :x may just try to find another set of Asolo's as I know how they fit.

I know what you mean, I must have bought and re-sold 10 pair of leathers trying to make 'em fit. I hope you are right but you might find one pair of Asolos do not fit the same as the other. They told to the owner's foot with time and care.

If you love the Extreme/Ultra boot type, I'd get them. But you say they are a size larger than what you need, I would not bother then...

I have 2 pr of Asolo Extremes same size and both fit like a glove. Gent has these ultras NIB and I've always wanted a pr just couldn't find a size that suits me most were 9.5 or smaller :| figured if these were"close enough" I may take a gamble

If they don’t fit, I’m an 11 M. If you don’t spend a lot of time trying to make them fit I could be interested.

Fisheater if your interested I can put you in touch with the gent. I'd really like them but not really willing to chance them not fitting.

I saw the original post from Chisana. While the boot is certainly worth the asking price, I can’t justify that while I am still skiing Alico Ski Mark and Alpina Alaska in prime condition. I was hoping for too good to pass up pricing.
If you are interested, I have a worn one time pair of Ski March, UK 9, US 10. I bought them for my son. He refused to wear them around the house, he took them skiing for 3 miles maybe. He is now a confirmed lift rider.
Read the reviews, I would be will to beat UK pricing, which is pretty cheap anyway. They seem to be running low on 9 & 10 UK.
