Re: Calgary Norseman
Just saying... got a pair of MT51 from them last season and they made sure I got the best pair for my height and weight. I don't think you can get that kind of service in many stores. I would say never mind the online store and contact them directly if you need anything. By the way, I am really happ...

Re: New Åsnes Combat NATO 62 BC
Lulz, ok. Next time I am inclined to tell you that your assessment is correct per Asnes' own words, I'll just withhold that and let Manney spread disinfo. [/quote] I will quote a Beatle song and simply say : "Let it be" I have full confidence in the users of this forum to draw their own conclusion ...

Re: New Åsnes Combat NATO 62 BC
All three are described as having “moderate” (Asnes language) wax pockets too. Let’s agree to disagree that Sverdrup is quite similar to Ingstad ;) The camber is more pronounced and stiffer underfoot than the Ingstad. You are correct. @Manney claimed to be quoting Asnes but provided incorrect info....

Re: New Åsnes Combat NATO 62 BC
The more one looks at the Asnes line, the more one sees a merging of lines… product streamlining… marketing by top sheet graphics. Look at the specs of the Ingstad, Sverdrup, and NATO BC. Same dimensions. Only variations in weight are easily explained by things like a titanal plate (Sverdrup, NATO ...

Re: New Åsnes Combat NATO 62 BC
How much the Nordic rocker will impact the XC skiing depends a lot on how long and high it is, and how it Interacts with the camber. Perhaps it is done just right and I assume it will be abundantly tested by experts for the target use, terrain and snow conditions. In any case I thought very highly ...

Re: Unapologetic love note to the Fischer E99 (now Transnordic 66)
Have a set of 215's and a 205. Worry about the 215's because of the wild cruising which has caused lots of breakage. But at this time in living who cares? Love the feel in deep powder because those skis HAVE to be headed down. Turn them across the fall line and they come to a stop in the deep so he...

Re: What happened?
Just saying… where are you guys going with this thread? I am quite sure it’s filled with sarcasm and related to the self destruction process that seems to be going on… I think Johnny set up an “off topic” discussion board for this subjects. Like he set up a “trip report” discusión board where I move...

Re: Boot crampons with telemark boots
I'm guessing Manney is googling ski crampons and now working hard at preparing an authoritative post. wabene just for fun I used ChatGPT and this is what I got : It seems like you're interested in understanding how boot crampons and NTN (New Telemark Norm) bindings work, as well as how to mount and...

Re: Skis without metal edges recomendations
May I suggest that trail groomers must be trained before actually starting. From what I read in this thread, I suspect that some trail groomers are not properly trained for the job. You must not simply tell someone to go groom a trail without proper instructions. Even though I have been skiing for s...
