Re: Bishop BMF or 22 Designs Outlaw
I'm interested to see if anyone puts up a review of the Bishop BMF. I started skiing on Bishop Bombers last season and I absolutely love them.

Re: How it's done!
Man, every time I start to think that I am good at tele I try and ski bumps like this and I realize I'm actually shit. I think growing up in the Pacific Northwest has made me soft compared to the New who ski ice and bumps all year

Re: G3 Targa as a backcountry-piste compromise binding?
I think that Voile Hardwire bindings would work better for your application and they are priced similar to the Targas. You can get em cheap on eBay as well just look for the short wires or you can get the short ones separately for cheap. The Hardwire let's you snap down the heel pice onto the heel r...

Re: Help Me Choose: Burly Leather Boots vs. Soft Plastic Boots
So I should be receiving my boots in a few days and I was wondering about using Sno-Seal on them from the get go or should I wait until they need additional waterproofing? I have always just put a layer on all my leather boots and gloves at the beginning of each season but I was wondering if this is...

Re: Help Me Choose: Burly Leather Boots vs. Soft Plastic Boots
Great info on boot treatment stuff.
I'm excited to try out the Alico March/Annum/Voile Cable setup.
I just picked up Annum 185s from Amazon of all places for $230. So excited to get this setup mounted up and take it out.

Re: Help Me Choose: Burly Leather Boots vs. Soft Plastic Boots
Just ordered up a pair of the Alico March Boots from the eBay store mentioned above. $60 shipped for a new pair of boots, what a steal! I think I paid more for my current Garmont boots used at the REI garage sale. Anyway I'm seriously considering snatching up a pair of Annums from Telemark-Pyrenees ...

Re: Help Me Choose: Burly Leather Boots vs. Soft Plastic Boots
Wow, it looks like Annums in my size are only $240 from Telemark Pyrenees. With the extra Voile bindings I already have and the Alico March Boots I could assemble a whole new kit for around $300! https://www.telemark-pyrenees.com/ski/madshus-annum-ski-2018 https://www.ebay.com/itm/British-Army-Milit...

Re: Help Me Choose: Burly Leather Boots vs. Soft Plastic Boots
Wow, awesome videos LoFi! I can really see the difference between the 10th Mountains and the Guides. The Karhu Supremes are a great ski, perfect for groomed trails and getting a little crazy in the trees! Mine are the exact same vintage as the ones in the picture, probably just about as old as I am ...

Help Me Choose: Burly Leather Boots vs. Soft Plastic Boots

Re: Voile Frankenbindings
Quick update on this old thread. I just started pulling out my gear for the upcoming season. It looks like the hardwire bales off of a Rottefella Cobra work perfectly in a Voile 3-pin cable. Exactly what I was looking for. Essentially this lwill let me choose either the low activity original 3-pin c...
