So I finally actually went skiing for the first time, It was at Winter Park, Co I took a full day ski course and had a lot of fun. They were getting hammered with snow while I was there.

I bought that Toko Universal cold in bulk from Tognar, I've bought other tools etc from them, actually sitting here putting all my ski wax stuff in a cheap craftsman plastic tool box, lol .. I've ordered the Swix Polar, I guess it all depends on what kind of Winter Colorado/Wyoming gets this year as...

So in my limited skiing knowledge, maybe I'm confused or something but I've noticed a lot of New Alpine touring skis have p-tex bases, is this a reverting back to waxing or am I missing something, if this is too off topic someone let me know.

Anyone ski in -20f weather with waxable skis, what's your recommended wax and application?

I've seen numerous people posting of them breaking the Meidjo 2.0 or somehow pulling up the topsheet, well or the layers that are connected to the binding.
