Nice skis Canna!!! What size did you get?
I just had NNN-BC magnums put on my Ingstads yesterday. Assuming I keep the Alaskas I got a day or two ago, I'm posed to get them out this weekend for the first spin....
That husky top sheet is awesome. Ski-joring is a howl.

Re: Crispi Svartisen BC
Good to have the comparison to the Alaska. Interesting to see that they are quite similar yet different enough to merit keeping both. Turning performance is a bit of a given, compared to the the Alaska, but I'll be most curious about how they tour with that cuff.

The grey man rocks! I'm going to enjoy his company on some solo trips in the middle of nowhere...
A couple of small tidbits are that he married a woman 20 someodd years his junior, and he lived to 101. I wonder if the two factoids are related

Re: Alpina Alaska NNNBC
My Alpina Alaska NNN-BC arrived today. Pretty stoked! :D I got a size EU45, and I'll need to wear them in the house for a bit to get a better feel for them, but my first impression is that they are a tiny bit snug in the toe. Hard to tell just yet. The length feels bang on, its the width. For those ...

Re: Vector BC eludes my thinking
I'll just say that as a newcomer here: posts like those on this thread by Teleman would drive me away from this forum pretty quickly - which would be a shame - I like it here and have learned a tonne. Thank you. Most probably come here to learn and share a bit with people with similar (but not ident...

And interesting to find that it is very similar to mine- because my ski (as well as other outdoor equipment) quiver is driven just as much by my family's needs as mine! I have four children at home- ages 2 to 13. NNNBC has proven to be a much more cost-effective for us as well. Yeap. It has to be f...

Re: PSA: Buy European
It makes the 95% of what I'm doing on the skis so much more pleasant I think thats key. I'm going to expect that there are times I really wish I was on pins and Norwegian welts, but that I will have to accept that for various reasons it was not the better choice for most of the time, and move on.
