Re: What boots to buy??

Isn't a ski without any traction pattern easier to control downhill than one with? Maybe waxing for grip isn't ideal for your conditions, though. Might affect speed a tiny bit. Re: Voile Endeavor

Pretty excited about these skis. I'm planning on picking up a pair of the BC (scaled) version for the gf to replace her Rossi bc125s that completely delaminated at the tips and tails. Its cool though, she hated those skis for everything except the dh. Every single pair of Rossi's that I've owned or ...

Re: Noob's "new" Plastic Boots, 1st Turns? (Video)

Another great post TG. I haven't come across any other posts like this one in the bazillion years I've been looking at internet telemark skiing. When I learned tele turns, one of the last things I would have wanted was to document and share it. You have more brave than I do. This post is educational...

Nah… just followed the link at the bottom of previous Wiki articles.

Don’t invest as much time as you think in this stuff.

You missed the point… adult education is so hard. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_low https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorado_low A bit before my time… https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Blizzard_of_1978 See those isobars over the UP? Winds from the northeast, coming over the lakes and hit...

Re: Xplore on Ice?

The good ppl of OK, NM, and KS would disagree. Prolly been a long time since school… and 48 is a big number. Lots to remember. LOL Snort. we were discussing weather in the UP. I said: we call them "Colorado lows" in the UP and you predictably went off topic. Try to stay with me if you want to argue...

Straight up wrong and wrong, Guy. Give it up. Your bs is easy to see through. You are quickly losing entertainmen...

Re: Xplore on Ice?

Not hard at all… just resist the urge to tell ppl what to do. Give them the info. Adults can make up their mind. Oh, here’s the link https://www.telemarktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5695&start=90#p60284 Lots of swings in the UP. Always have been. Likely always will be… lake effect, tails of nor eas...

Re: Xplore on Ice?

Good to see you got what was needed to come to your own conclusions. Your skiing, your decisions. That's how discussion forums work: someone asks a question seeking advice, other members offer advice, original person reads various posts, draws their own conclusions or asks followup questions. What ...
