Re: RavenTele / Ron

So in other words, you behave like a human on teast because nobody messes with you, huh? So as long as everyone bows down to your greatness and stays silent, everything is good, right? I'll say it again pal: you are no smarter than the rest of us. Can I change my vote to ban the piss out of this lun...

Re: RavenTele / Ron

Get a grip. Nobody comes to this forum to deal with your BS. Why do we all need to follow your rules? Why can't you just have a conversation? This type of forum is about enjoyment and you ruin it for everyone except yourself. Quit being so selfish. You are acting like a cornered animal. Just give it...

Re: RavenTele / Ron

Very well, a few words on bannings/ witch hunts: If you read carefully over the XCD thread -- what's been posted there the last few days -- you will easily see that various parties were very willing and active participants in the shitshow..But no matter, as an expert in this matter , I can assure y...

Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread

You *could* clip out the skier and edit the background layer and the subject layer, but like raventele said, you can mess with it forever, but it's low resolution to begin with and spending a bunch of time messing with minute details won't fix that.

Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread

Not much he can do to fix backlit photos! Maybe photoshop will eventually come up with a fix for that too. I kid... I prefer the first one too but I think I understand what raventele is tryin to do. He's concentrating on the subject while I at least, prefer to look at the terrain and surroundings. T...

Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread

That all makes sense. The snow texture is hard to make out very well in your edits, like in first of the two edits that you just posted, the white of the snow right in front of the skier is 'hotspotted' and has removed all contrast. Honestly, that's just my personal preference because I think the sn...

Re: The Ski Lite / XCD thread

Well, thanks for all the info.. I really do know what I am working with.. And years ago, Teleman used to send copies of originals which were, of course much easier to work with..There's not much by way of increasing resolution etc that can be done with 100k jpeg files and smaller !  :lol...

Re: RavenTele / Ron

I'd say if his current antics persist, show him the door. If he calms it down, let him stay I'm new here but I agree 100% with the above quote. Once he starts back up with the rage and ridicule, show him the door, toute de suite. I think MikeK brought up a good point in a different thread: does any...

Re: Cannon/Mittersill January 28th 2015

That's a great TR. I've skied all over Cannon and Mittersill but never had the chance (never had the balls) to do the tram line although I've stared at it many, many times. Well done and thx for refreshing my memory of one of the funnest hills in the east.

Thanks for that! That guy's got great looking products and some skills too. Innovation without a huge industrial process. Nice.
