Re: Sick of breaking NTN bindings...

I really don't like the feeling of knowing that my bindings are 'fragile' while I race down the hill... It keeps me from fully driving them... Too bad they have so many problems, because it's really the best thing when it comes to lateral stiffness. I asked the question because I'm curious to see if...

Re: Sick of breaking NTN bindings...

Oh! Good to know!

What was your boots? Did you break them with the same foot? How did you fix that?

What is causing that lateral problem now... Like, the plastic itself or a loose in the toe cup shaft?

Re: Where to mount the bindings?!

Yeah there's some good advice in Bogon's link below... But if you wanna keep it simple, just mount the pin line of your bindings on the chord center of your ski. Unless your binding looks like this one (Which would be another story), just mark the center of your ski at 93cm from either tip or tail. ...

Hey Snorbuse!

Welcome to TT!

Can you tell us a bit more about your setup? What bindings do you have? What's your boots size?

Re: Random Ski News: French Ban British Ski Guides

Interesting... As guides are becoming a trend here...

Thank God our examining system for instructors is not as tough... I think they have to study ski full time for like 20 years until they can teach kids how to do the snowplow...

Books books books!

I *love* ski books... I'm always looking for some good pre-bedtime literature. Here's a few classics I already have... Any suggestions for my next read? I'm not really into kids apres-ski beer-drinking tales or extreme skiing crap. I'm more into hermits, huts, philosophy, mountains and wilderness ki...

Re: Sick of breaking NTN bindings...

Well, maybe it's not Rottefella's fault. Maybe it's the boots. Maybe I am the problem...! I remember a old thread on the old forum, collecting data about different combinations of binding versions, boots, spring settings etc... But that was for frame cracking, not toe cups... Never broke a single fr...

Re: Advice needed on NTN mounting for rockered skis

This looks SOoooooo cooool! Almost unreal... It's so.... Remote... And exotic! I'm sure I'll have some nice dreams tonight abo...

Re: Advice needed on NTN mounting for rockered skis

Ahahaha! Well, you sure ski in an area with *SNOW*...! I wouldn't guess the east coast... : ) I've been using Opera for over like 15 years... Still the fastest (and safest!) browser around! Hummm... I tried loading the page on Firefox on 3 different machines/OS... No problem at all here... Guess I'l...
