Johnny, Pierre, and the beast. Or the new Telemark Tech Norm (TTN) vs the future of XCD (NTN-BC)

People always laughed at me. No matter what I say or do, it has always been that way. Being the 1% minority with different views on the world is not always easy. I still remember how people made fun of me when I first talked about having NTN leather shoes. Ok, that was funny, floppy shoes in a 4lbs ...

Erik Fey: (Telemark Down) "This project was scrapped. Consensus was the future was in Tech from what I understand of which I have to agree. I believe this was canned last year." Pierre Mouyade: (The M Equipment) "I'm sorry but the project is far from scrapped. It has been postponed but I'm going to...

Rod my dear friend... You have not the slightest idea of all the fun you are missing... 8-) My guess is that you are still communicating with a pager and a fax machine? Still listening to Wham and Lara Fabian on cassette? Watching Lance et Compte and Du Tac au Tac on VHS? Smoking king size DuMaurier...

Re: Gear Basket

Hi,

I double checked this situation and there are few lucky ones who have succeeded in ordering skis for the US.
Reason is missing size information from our systems + mistake in our warehouse + error for delivery company's systems.

Re: A new NTN Binding from The M!

The introduction of the NTN standard divided the telemark community because the products required a change in technique. In 2014, The M Equipment had introduced on the market a new product called MEIDJO which, while using shoes with the NTN standard, makes it possible to rediscover the sensations o...

Re: Necessity of wax-iron

All in all it was way easier than I expected and seemed to work very well. (Perhaps a bit feral and anachronistic but I'm sure there's absolutely NO ONE on this forum that identifies with THOSE adjectives....) BRILLIANT!!!!!!! I always put a cauldron full of 3/4" rocks on the woodstove to put in a ...

and I built a router jig for it. clamp the boot in, and one pass with the router left a perfect smile at just the right depth.
BRILLIANT!!!
My next project on the list...!

Yep, there is a cure... It's called a garage sale...

We don’t own a car, so I start all my tours by running up to the Butikksenter and building loops out from there.
My very first criteria to define what a "real" skier is... 8-)
Kudos to you!

The standard springs (top) and the Red ones (bottom). It's hard to see on the picture, but the Red ones are slightly thicker... That slight difference in thickness makes a *HUGE* difference in stiffness!
