LaCordee only stocks Ingstad, Gamme, and Amundsen, the good lengths are gone. I guess these do sell out at list price. Last year was dry in Colorado so sales must have been slower. The good sizes are mostly gone from Neptune as well.

Re: The narrowest class of XCD Skis

looks like my hopes of an Asnes sale are doomed…Neptune is already sold out of 205cm Nansen.

yep, that 2-foot forecast is probably for the valleys - the mountains should get even more. Looking high & dry up here for a while. Counting on February to deliver…….

Re: good kick and glide 75mm binding?

I talked to Alico last year - they said STP carries all the boots they currently make, except for the fire/lumberjack market. I've suggested to STP that they order a run of Supertelemark's, it'd be good if everyone asked them! They used to carry them, I found a old cached web page showing them for s...

Re: what would you suggest for a good kick and glide 75mm bi

The Svartsens look good, I have read some comments about the exoskeleton causing pain while striding, I've never used them. (I'm a broken record on the Antarctics - love them - I would point out that the other Crispis 75mm's all use the thinner, softer, less durable, non-welted 75mm sole) I just goo...

Re: Telemark Lessons

Parc du Mt. Royal is awesome! I did some XC there on a trip last year, I may be going again in Feb. When snow is deep there are steep lines coming down through the woods too, I saw some snowboarders and AT'ers hitting it. It's fun to be up there with all the other city people XC-skiing. I know every...

Re: The narrowest class of XCD Skis

interesting, I've never actually skied metal-edge skinnies like the E89. It would be better to have edges for a mostly BC ski. But why not take the E99/Gamme if that's where you are - they're so much better if the snow is uneven, powder, crud, etc. weight is only a tiny bit more than E89-width skis....

Re: what would you suggest for a good kick and glide 75mm bi

all good suggestions here. my personal preference is for Super Tele with Crispi Antarctic. the uppers of these boots will be softer than old Asolos but not much and everything else is the same (stiff welted sole). currently using older E99's or Sbound 78 with these. I tried Voile 3pc and it's great ...
