Re: How wrong is my ski/binding/boot setup

Agree on the rocker launch problem. I'm no lightweight and it bothers me. Voile wedges to the rescue.
If you can't find a pair you can try this-

Re: Universal Bindings?

Id look at a At Setup with telemark tech system. And then follow Anrothar's lead

You can find outdated At boots that are ideal for this cheap.
Boots are easy to walk in especially when cut down.

Re: The new Rottefella Back Country binding system

Me like.. Rottefella if you are listening please put the bumper on a pivot or make it movable forward to allow full free pivot. Even better make the movement forward in steps for variable resistance. Although simply being able to flip it forward on a pivot would be simpler mechanically and likely mo...

Re: Franken binding idea

Still a work in progress. This was inspired by Anrothar on this site. He uses Vinyl fabric with flexible cyanoacrylate. I'm not sure what I will do yet. The material I want is like a rubberized cordura that used to be IMG_1781.JPG put on backpacks as a crampon tie down patch. I swear it was called H...

I'm no franken-dude and forgive me for thinking outside of yer box...but perhaps my ideas might still be useful to you... 1)Garmont Guidas....Laced plastic shells...right? They loo...

Franken binding idea

Posted this on EYT, maybe more applicable here. Frankenbinding idea/help wanted to make it I have a pair of fat fish scales I use for meadow skipping. They are currently mounted with Voile Switchbacks that I ski with Garmont Guidas(T3ish) boot. For this purpose the bindings are clunky and I get rock...

Re: Tech for xcd simple heel hold down

I can't imagine telemarking or steep skiing with this. For me it will be for low angle parallel turn meadowskipping. I could also see it it working well for some of the more distance oriented skiers that post here and are using tech toes only. It would give them a little more control when needed. Se...
