Re: Really New Skis

Hey wooderson, how are the V6 on hardpack? I also see Voile is releasing the drifter again. Too fat for me however. I'm curious how the V6s will stack up against my hypervectors. The tighter turning radius sounds great but it seems they have less camber for kick and glide than vectors. The V6 has a...

Re: Really New Skis

I picked up a set of 184 hyper vectors last August. I really enjoyed them for the season. I have them mounted by Voile with HW and running T2 ecos. Scales climb extremely well. I only had to use my skins a few times this season. Kick and glide is great and fairly easy to tele on soft snow. My only ...

Re: Skins- off-season storage

I stopped using skin savers, put them base to base, and I keep them in the basement where it's cooler in a big cardboard box. There are three rooms in my basement, I keep them in the driest one, humidity wise.

Re: Skis Stuck In Sweden - how to get them to the USA?

she would prefer not to drag the skis to through the airports (I sympathize with that). All helpful comments are appreciated. Thank You. I am not too sure my comment will be helpful, but I don’t mind dragging the skis through airports if you pay me the plane tickets :D Sorry but I could not help it...

Re: Sbounds...leathers

She makes it look good! people were classy in the early 1900's. A foot+ of snow is headed for the mountains - slackfest could be epic this year - no high temps in the foreceast, I might have to fight the traffic & go. Tman you guys must have skied something in the Great Gulf, east snowfield are...

Re: The Åsnes Thread (News for 2018-2019!)

I am surprised at what happened to The Green Man... IDK Woods, All I can see is a wood core fulllength metal edge BC ski that weighs only 825grams at 200cm. Man oh man, I have to chat with Børge Ousland. I was so nervous that my favorites were going to disappear I didn't even see that! Holy...

Re: Fischer Excursion 88 vs Outtabounds - Newb

Nobody said XCD is easy. particularly telemarking or more XC type skis. You need to get the technique down (i recommend practise at the resort with easy turning skis without scales). .... S98 ok, Epoch softer and easier to turn, but also consider the Annum, especially if you have powder conditions....
