Re: NOS Rossignol 7S

Probably a bit short for me, in 6 feet and eat too much steak and eggs, but I'll give em a whirl and pass em on if they don't do a thing for me. Don't really have a slot for a ski like that, aside from curiosity. It'll have to wait til next year though, I have volkswagen issues, my season is over :(

Re: Joining NATO

My wife's cousin was in the SS and lost on the Eastern Front so I've done a bit of research as WWII is my hobby. IMO, the media blew the real story with that Uke Nazi soldier. No one wanted to be "liberated" by Russian troops who they were historically at war with. And if the spit hits the fan, peo...

NOS Rossignol 7S

No review yet, just wondering whether to mount these up. Found them at my parents house from the year I quit ski racing and started snowboarding, around 1992. Classic slalom skis. Didn't find a review on Dave's page but there was a whole section on slalom skis. Brand new never mounted 183cm. 2024042...

Re: Joining NATO

Canada has never been capable of defending itself- huge country, tiny population. I love Canada so I will fight, but I'm old! BTW there are scads of Soviet era Russian T-72s still in use in NATO countries! I appreciate that you'd fight for us. I'd fight too, but I'm also approaching the too old to ...

Pretty interesting clip here as he seems to really over emphasize the technique, the upper body is clearly almost completely static

Re: Joining NATO

Problem with Nato is it encourages arms production. When a country joins Nato they have to standardize to Nato spec arms, further enriching those arms producers and causing massive surpluses in those countries as they replace supplies to match Nato spec. We are supposedly in a climate emergency (ac...

Re: Joining NATO

What if an "evil" alter ego of NATO formed? Like axis and allies? Or if NATO didn't exist but a federation of countries existed that didn't include "western" nations. Would it be tolerated globally? Let's say China Russia, Iran and North Korea started an alliance and smaller countries would be entic...
