Re: Fischer BCX 8 75mm
Yes, I would say that Fischer Nordic boots are smaller than the stated size, based on my own experience with BCX675 as well as an NNN BC boot. I normally take size 44 in street shoes, sports shoes and outdoor boots. With the Fischer BC boot I had to go to 45 and also 45 with the BCX675. However, th...

Fischer BCX 8 75mm
Do you guys know if these boots fit small? Like you need a size up? I tried the earlier version years ago, and the size 40 seemed small for me (compared to Alpina 40 that fits me well). Thanks.

Re: WTB Voile CRB Parts
I've got some parts, older style... I'll take some pictures and send them... Here? Or do you have a mail? PM me. I won't be able to do so until next week.3pinsandduckbills wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 4:24 pmThanks for the lead. Looking for parts as opposed to a whole setup, but I’ll keep that one in mind.

Looking for: Alpina Alaska 40 right foot
I am looking for a Alpina Alaska right foot size 40... If you have a pair and it's your left foot that's cracked along the pin line, then, I'd be interested to buy...

Re: Style
From the vid I saw of you skiing, you are certainly getting there... pretty good. We can also have fun fine tuning our technique... but, again, it is not a panacea... I was skiing tele mainly backcountry years ago... I decided to take a class — CANSI style. Then I got «sidetrack» to ski mainly resor...

Re: Atomic RT86: Persevere or Explore a New Setup?
I never cared for the RT-86. To me they had no character, they were just planks. It's the skis! But I remember that, in an interview, the late Steve Barnett himself liked the ski (RT86). It is all a matter of personal preferences... but I am not saying that it is not important, on the contrary... Y...

Re: Style
Styles, and schools too... If you look at how the Americans, the Canadians, the Germans, the Australians, etc teach tele-skiing, you would see as many differences. Each year, there is a tele-get-together to exchange ways and pedagogy—it's called «Inter-ski telemark tech». You could find some info on...

It might be a solution... but my GF prefer Rotte ST or Voile (without cables)...lowangle al wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 11:56 amThat's a bummer Rod. Do you think switching to a non 3pin cable binding like a riva or chilli would prevent it?

Good for you! If you can find some snow up north... I'll have to do the same.
