Re: FS (?) or FT: 164 Objective BC w/ Lite Dogz

Phoenix, If these are still for sale, could you pm some pictures to me? Also, how are they on hard-pack? I'm just over the state line in western MA, and these days, 90% of my skiing is on surfaces that have gotten rained on at some point. I mostly ski the local mountain bike trails near my home, and...

Re: WAX HELP, PLS!!

I am not an expert telemark skier so I don't post here very often. But I have been cross-country skiing (on logging roads and mountain bike trails) in western MA for about 30 years now. There is much good advice already posted about which waxes will be best when we have snow. But (as you probably al...

Re: What bindings to pair with Altai Kom skis

Anyone try these with Burnt Mtn spike 3 pin binding? Those bindings were on a pair of skis I borrowed a few years ago, and I liked them a lot.

What bindings to pair with Altai Kom skis

Hi, I'm looking for suggestions about what bindings would work best for my needs. I live in New England, and am a cross-country skier who started telemark skiing at age 50 and who will never be one to rip downhill. At best, I am an intermediate-level skier. I practice my telemark turns at a nearby s...

Re: Keeping dog paws ice/snow free

Hi Alex, Three possible suggestions. If your dog will tolerate it, use a set of clippers to clip the fur between your dog's pads, as that long fur (which an Australian shepherd has) makes the snow/ice ball problem a lot worse than for short-haired dogs. My collie mix, who experiences this problem fr...

Re: Brand New Crispi Svartisen 75mm 38

Mike,
I might be interested but need more info about sizing. What other boots does your wife have, and what sizes are they? I saw she has the Excursion. Does she also have a Fischer or Alpina boot? Just trying to get a comparison to what I fit.
Thanks.
