Re: Toe bang, really want to make boots work.
Agree on Intuition liner being best, but likely most expensive choice. Do you have a local shoe repair place, they often have shoe stretchers that can apply a lot of force to stretch tech out a liner. With some heat from a heat gun they should lengthen quite a bit. As suggestsed above, if that doesn...

Re: Weak ankles due to minor accidents
I’ve been taking care of bad feet for 20 years as a Pedorthist- IF you have a high arched foot that is on the stiff side it is inherently unbalance towards ankle sprains and will benefit from a footbed with a slightly higher outside heel and a divot for the first metatarsal head. Also , post ankle i...

Hello @sheep, because you mentioned custom boots, and you mentioned cold conditions, along with an unusual foot shape, I am offering an outside the box solution. It incorporates a moldable liner that allows for custom fitting, along with additional warmth. In North America Intuition liners are easy...

The Xplore is a great concept, can you bring us Xplore V2? Add easily transition from flexor to free pivot with a simple switch like a Voile switchback. Add a similar easy transition of flexor hardness. Add a cable option. Get a boot manufacturer to make an Xplore Excursion. With these ther would be...

Re: Prototype…
If I had the funds and time, I’d find an old Excursion and buy the cheapest Xplore boot I could find. Then I’d rip the front sole off both boots and then bolt front half of the Xplore sole to the Excursion.

Pretty sure Voile uses Nylon, possibly with fiber reinforcement for most of their plastic parts.

Re: Beginner boots for Kom/Hok's
Agree on Excursion as wider than T4/3. An intuition liner like posted above can be heat molded really thin. I think you would be way better off with an Excursion with a wide ski like Hoks. Also agree about turn ability of Hoks. I have its predecessor from Karhu and the permanent skin is really grabb...
