It's horrible and you don't want to go:

Smile

Still recovering from the improbability of the amazing conditions/weather there this weekend. Will post more pics/TR when more coherent. The west face was in great shape, unheard of for this late in the season. Eastside routes looked great from the summit. I believe Brewer Creek TH is now open. Looks like a possibility of some weather moving in this weekend. Maybe you'll get some July pow! Smile

I'm planning on doing the HW Ridge route from Brewer Creek as a day trip on Wednesday, July 13th. Partners welcome. PM.

I'll be doing the Hotlum Wintun from Brewer Creek Sat-Mon July 9-12. I have to fly out Tuesday night. I would also welcome partners for any of these days.

I found a crystal Tuesday on a hike near Panther Meadow. The mountain obviously intended for me to find it. I'll sleep with it under my pillow until the ancient secrets of the Lemurians are revealed in my dreams.

And, the skiing was pretty good too.

I'll answer my own question. Yes, it is off the friggin' hook up there.

Joe, about seven turns into a 7,000' corn descent on July 10! Shocked Shocked

powderjunkie samples the goods on the hotlum headwall. He's just looking for the fastest way to "weed"
