If you count the European Union as "Europe", he is right.

Quote:

As a single economy, the EU is the largest trading partner of the US with $367.8 billion worth of EU goods going to the US and $268.6 billion of US goods going to the EU as of 2011, totaling approximately $636.4 billion in total trade.[2]

reference: http://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c0003.html#2011

Might wanna keep your day job, since your rudimentary knowledge of economics, is well, rudimentary.

So you may wanna stick to real criticisms as opposed to made up ones.

Very Happy

Sometimes, I think SL is being intentionally stupid. Other times, just stupid.

The WSJ had a piece on this today. As much as I would like to hear about another Obama miss quote I just don't understand this quote from the WSJ.

"Europe is not our largest trading partner. Canada is. Followed by China. Followed by Mexico. Followed by Japan. "Europe" only counts as America's largest trading partner in an aggregate sense"

I mean seriously how does the term Europe not mean Europe as a whole in an aggregate sense?

I have no miss conception that the WSJ or most any other media outlet is fair and balanced but this one is pretty pathetic.

Apparently the WSJ research staff was working on this very question a couple of years ago.

Ya think? Loafer mainlines the WSJ-- going to get nothing but credulity from him.

SL, queen of the backfire threads.

Now we just need Laura to chime in with proof of Palin's trans-Atlantic trade agreement expertise.
