Don't get me started on mooses. Early this year I posted on the Alberta thread about an embarassing licking incident I had with one:








This came at a time when I was finally getting over a traumatic wildlife experience from a couple years ago.
While fixing the roof I did not notice that several beasts had surrounded the house, trapping me up there
for quite some time.








So, forgive me if I don't get "stoked" about wildlife threads.

Gambol's Quail shot through one of our windows - 10 feet from the house



Curved bill thrasher in our cholla 5 feet from the porch - they build decoy nests in every cholla around - the only folks that don't like cholla are people - birds love em, pack rats eat em, snakes look for bird nests in em



Bobcat just sitting in the road at the mailbox mesmerized by a rabbit err dinner - the biggest one we've seen I'm guestimating 40#



Roseate spoonbill - coastal bend tejas



Fly catchers living in the riverbank
