| Interesting. I grew up in Louisiana and remember when he was Governor. Shamefully, we're about the only state where you get ridiculed for being Harvard educated - which Roemer was. |

Chug,
He seems like an intelligent, rational, centrist of the old school...non-crazy-rightie...common sense conservatism. Was that your impression of him? I do like the funding model for the campaign. Opposite end of the universe from Citizen's United. Sure wish he could have gotten into the Republican debates. |

Even a far left wingnut like me is intrigued by something that would obsolete the current political parties. And I like the idea of a centrist movement/party. Of course, one must always beware populism. _________________

Fuckin' Slab Bacon, STFU. If you're as far left as you say you are, WTF would you like about a centrist party? It's like your hard hard-on for Olympia Snowe - She 'd spit on trash like you. Doesn't even make any sense. You don't really know what the fuck you are. Neither does anybody else but you're so fuckin' dumb we just hope you don't get lumped in with us.
Go eat something fatty.

He didn't fit in to Louisiana politics at all. He was neither previously indicted or an ex-Klan'er. And to make it worse, he was intelligent, rational and thoughtful. So at the time he seemed like a real oddity and breath of fresh air. We ended up going back to criminals and klansmen afterward. And now have an Indian? |

| Seems like it would have been better to have him as part of the debates than some of the folks who were at the podiums. I'm not a big fan of third parties, but would prefer an evolution to a revolution to move us forward from where we're at with the current state of political discourse. |

Without instant runoff voting, they tend to be marginalized. |

Why would I be interested in a centrist party? Think about it. If you have a brain. It should be pretty obvious. _________________

Shut up, Salt Pork. You've posted before that you'd vote for Olympia Snowe. Why? She's a center-right American politician which puts her far, far to the right of the person you say you are. But honestly, Pig Dog, you don't even know who you are politically. I think you like to see yourself as a far left whack job because somehow in your demented view of the world, that's "cool". In reality, though, you're just a rudder-less cretin, careening off whatever object your malformed political consciousness last collided with. |
