I read something, made me think.

"Creative processes are associated with artistic creativity... They have as a common factor the inventiveness of the person who is active in the process-the "creator"- who has the ability of creating a new, perhaps unique, pattern of conduct; of maximizing a situation; of expressing a thought or feeling in a unique way..."

Then I saw the cover photo from today, we all know that feeling, its as special as the moment just before when you were lit up with joy from the sensation of the turn.

cheers to the unique. for every still photo framed and cropped to perfection there were 10 before it that were equally as wonderful, albeit, ugly, twisted the wrong way, poles and hands swinging around, legs twisted, dragging a leg, whatever.

So lets see it. How pefect can imperfect be?

Nice pix! Perfectly imperfect!
You can't ski, you are playfully
breaking rules! Actually, if
you can't break the rules, you
can't ski! Ski bunnies don't get that! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Awesome. I'll play.

Sometimes it's imperfect due to fighting off whips.

Sometimes leathers and skinny skis require a poodling DPP.

Sometimes it's just not going your way!

Ron, you are really barking up the wrong tree here. I've known Dan for nearly a decade. 50 or 60 some years ago his family founded one of the major resorts in the Lake Tahoe area, where he maintains a slopeside home to this day. He's a fine individual and one of the best skiers, tele and alpine, that I have ever known, and he's not bad on a snowboard either.

Chadh love this thread, just wish I could send inperfection cause we have a ton of em. Latest was Teleking before the melt off up in the hills skiing down a downed tree that Ron has shown pictures of.........Imagine....da king in total controll forward ski out there, back, back wth him totally balanced in the middle. Wags around here would call it poodling but it's total balance and he is there! next shows his right ski breaking free, not good, next on all fours trunk of his body on the trunk of the tree....next over the handlebars head down for the 6-8 foot drop.....then burried head down. By the time I get them to Ron this thread will be finished. Will say we all had a talk with the King cause we didn't wanna carry out a dead king! Seriously he's mid fifties and is skiing in a frenzy totally on the edge of control....probably sees what is happening to me a decdade older and is fighting the inevitable fight but................Truely it was perfection, he lived.
