The economy is recovering, Barry is moving towards the center and the media is likely to hype the good news to promote him. Meanwhile, the other party is a mess.

Could be...

Isn't it a hard argument to make if you are saying he inherited this recession and he took a bunch of steps to try to turn the economy around, now we are seeing some more jobs, but vote against him anyways? Isn't that a hard argument to make? Is that a stark enough contrast?

Obama is just beginning to turn around the huge mess he was given by Bushco. It will take a second term to get a full recovery.

Obama should keep a low profile and his fingers crossed and let Newt and Mitt duke it out. I still think he is unlikely to win a second term.

Obama sucks and has done very little to change the policies which brought us into this mess. That being said that is still much better than the gang who are arguing about exactly how to double down on the GWB legacy and want to escalate his policies in every way possible.

WORD!

The main problem is when they get to Washington they are "Read In" to everything and told: "You have a decision to make..."

No they don't, they have no decision. They get what they are delt. Especially if the congress or senate are from the other party.

Every politico I know in 'merica is concentrating on congressional and state legislator races and couldn't care less about the totally discredited Obomber.

I wish. I wish this were true. I wish Obama would leave his right of center position and move LEFT towards the center. George Bush with a better tan.
