| that is the move i have for years referred to as "the monarch hook" which nobody but me understood. raising, then dropping the arm to a pole plant of sorts to aid in staying afloat in deep stuff. looks good... j |

I know, been that way all the time this year. Las tSat, wind HOWLING here in town, Monarch said 9F w/6MPH wind. Knew that couldn't be right as you could see plumes coming off the peaks. Checked NOAA site for Monarch Pass; 8F, wind 39 gusting to 45.
Now I do know that when we have wind here it isn't necessarily windy at Monarch. Experienced that several times last year. |

Hmmm....that is how you define 'deep'? It looks like 12-14 inches.
When I think of 'deep' I think of like 25-40 inches.
I suppose it is relative.

| it is always windy until about june 10. i had many shingles blown off in the last round of wind, just repaired the roof yesterday. really howling now though, hope it hangs together. j |
